Vitae Theme
A dark CV & portfolio theme for SynaptikCMS. Built for designers, developers, and freelancers who want a personal site that works as a professional portfolio.
The home page is the centrepiece — an identity card with your photo, availability badge, and social links on the left; your bio, key stats, skill bars, and experience timeline on the right. Everything is fed from a single admin page you fill in once. No page builder, no shortcodes.
What's included
- Animated hero — identity card, typewriter role animation, availability badge, CTA buttons
- Skill bars — animated on scroll, grouped by category, fed from a plain text field
- Experience timeline — vertical timeline with section grouping and a current-role indicator
- Key stats — gradient-border stat cards (years, projects, clients — whatever fits)
- Masonry project grid — alternating proportions, hover zoom, colour overlay
- Dark / light mode — toggle in the sidebar, preference saved in the browser
- Contact page — styled form with spam protection built in
How it works
Create one page in your admin called home-data, add four Custom Fields in the site settings (bio, roles, skills, timeline, cf. screenshot below), fill them in — and the home page builds itself.
